Mariana Hernandez
Mariana was born and raised in Mexico, later on she had to move to the Bay Area in her early adolescence years. As a young teen, she learned the importance of community building as well as the importance of advocacy for mental health within Latinx communities.
Mariana is enthusiastic and personable, her passion is to contribute, support, and make a difference. Her aspiration to become a helping member of the community drove her to develop a passion in helping others by bringing support, contribution, and awareness to her community.
As a first-generation Latina graduate, she has worked hard to major with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University and Associates of Arts in Spanish from the College of Marin. Mariana has been part of the DreamSF fellowship where she was placed at MEDA a non-profit dedicated to promoting social justice through asset building and community development. Where she has discovered that she thrives on challenges and does the best working in high-volume settings.
